Location: the hotel was so close to a restaurant and the Autoroute. It also was in the middle of the city❤
There was something as lift missing.

Clean, modern, quiet. Friendly staff
We asked for an early check in due to attending a wedding however the staff were half an hour late to let us in and the phone number provided no one answered.

Modern clean decor. Our room had a very nice shady terrace.
Lack of parking near the hotel. No tea/coffee facilities in the rooms.

The place was spotless, staff were attentive and efficient, the rooms were functional with a nice verandah, breakfast met expectations, and the meals were reasonably priced.

we only used it as a base, as our son was on work experience as part of his university degree in the next town (la voulte sur rhone)
May be the parking, although there was a car park close by

Le Carre was the most expensive of the four hotels we stayed at on our recent holiday but it was well worth the extra. The rooms are themed rather than numbered - we had Chocolat - which gave that boutique chic feel. The room was well proportioned and appointed with an effective air conditioning system and we had a very comfortable night's sleep. That evening we ate in the restaurant rather than the central terrace. The food and its cooking and presentation was truly first class. This was backed up by an excellent team of waiters and waitresses. They were efficient, discrete, friendly and helpful in equal measure. Breakfast the following morning was as good as you can make a petit dejeuner and rounded off our stay in the best way possible. They also have a very friendly hotel cat! Le Carre is aiming high and, in our opinion, is attaining a very good standard across the board without being over fussy or formal. We can recommended Le Carre without hesitation and would certainly go back there if we return to Charmes -sur - Rhone.

I had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel in a quiet village. The staff provided a warm welcome and the room was beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and a private terrace. The highlight of my stay was the exceptional dining experience in the hotel's stylish restaurant. The food was exquisite, and the wine recommendations from the knowledgeable wine butler were spot-on. Breakfast was also a delightful affair, with a selection of local cheeses, pastries, and jams. I highly recommend this hotel for a luxurious and memorable stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
